Framedrop provides video editing and digital content services using artificial intelligence software to streamline and optimize the editing process for professional content creators worldwide (individuals and companies), as well as for individual users.

Framedrop collects Users' personal data through its website and via social media, particularly when Users register or log in to their personal accounts using their Google or Twitch profiles.

3. Personal Data

Personal data refers to any information, of any nature and in any form, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Framedrop only collects the data it considers essential for the User to access the Platform and use the Services securely, to register and process User orders related to subscription and payment for the Services, and, if the User is interested, to keep the User informed about the Services and any updates, changes, or commercial partnerships.

The information collected about the User and how it is collected may vary depending on the type of subscription purchased.

5. Personal Data Collected by Framedrop

  • Identification Data: Name.
  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • User Content: Including images, videos, or other information provided by the User during the use of the Services and shared with Framedrop.
  • Data provided by the User in information requests, complaints, or other communications with Framedrop.
  • Location Data: General location information derived from device data associated with the IP address.
  • Device and Technical Information: Information about the hardware, operating system, browser type, browser settings, mobile carrier or internet service provider, and unique identifiers associated with the User's device, including the IP address.

For Users who only access Framedrop's website without creating an account, only location data, device, and technical information will be collected.

6. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing

Framedrop processes Users' personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Fulfillment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations;
  • Compliance with applicable legal obligations;
  • Consent;

Framedrop uses the User's personal data for the following purposes:

  • Registration on the Platform;
  • Acquisition of different subscription plans by the User;

  • Improving and personalizing Services according to User preferences;
  • Notifying Users of changes to the Services;
  • Ensuring the operability of the Services and the Platform and security in its use;

  • Investigating and reporting any violations of the Terms and Conditions or applicable law.

7. Data Sharing with Third Parties

  • Artificial intelligence software providers, to enable the provision of the Services on the Framedrop Platform, based in the EU or EEA.

However, these communications are made solely and exclusively to fulfill the purposes for which the data is collected and following Framedrop’s instructions, in strict compliance with data protection regulations and information security standards.

In addition to the service providers contracted by Framedrop, Users' personal data may also be shared with other entities for their own purposes:

  • Judicial, administrative, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with legal obligations or a court order.
  • Third parties with whom the User has consented to the disclosure of their personal data.

8. Data Retention Period

Users' personal data will only be retained for the necessary period to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or for the periods required by legal obligations.

Framedrop does not anticipate that Users will be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly affect them significantly.

Framedrop does not foresee transferring Users’ personal data outside the EU or EEA, i.e., to a third country. The existing technical, organizational, and physical procedures ensure the confidentiality of users' personal data, protecting them from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access, and from other illegal forms of data processing.

Framedrop ensures that any subcontracted entity is bound to equivalent security measures and acts under Framedrop’s continuous instructions.
